A Katahdin View from the Penobscot River
After four days of living in lean-to's we looked forward to a night in the primitive, but comfortable, bunkhouses at the white-water rafting companies campgrounds. After unpacking our gear we walked around the grounds, taking in the serene surroundings and letting the tension from the past days hikes uncoil.
At the shoreline, I looked to my right and noticed that mighty Katahdin loomed in regal dominance over the Penobscot River as well. The late day sun created a depth of color that I wanted to accentuate, so I put on my ND10 filter and fired away.
I hope you enjoy.
