Huachuca Mountain Sunset I

I am constantly awestruck by the southern Arizona high desert skies transformation from gentle azure to molten fire. Last evening's sunset over the Huachuca Mountains brought a fiery end to the mild fall day. Its transition was even more dramatic as high on the mountain flanks, the stands of Aspen, now golden in autumnal change, reflected the colors of the crimson sunset. With night's mystery quickly approaching, the time spent enjoying this splendid performance allowed my soul to settle in gratitude for the miraculous beauty we are provided each day.
