How can one define the magic of life, the beauty of this planet, the sacred glory of His creation? I do not know the words so I rely on images. The indescribable is commonplace in the quiet unpopulated havens of this world. Such was the case on this night.

As I stood behind my camera, good friends, new and newer, alongside me, I witnessed the glorious spectacle of the moon rising on the horizon with the Majesty of the Milky Way spanning over its way. This was a first for me. It was a scene so beautiful it humbled me to the depths of my soul.

A tremendous night. First a meteor shower, then the Milky Way and the Milky Way with the Moon rising and a grand finale of a Moonlit landscape to take a star trails shot. Life doesn't get much better.
