I've seen many Red-tailed Hawks in my life. They are the most common raptor in this area. But it was not until I went to California that I got to see this Light Morph Western Red-tail. It's funny how something you see so often can look so new and exciting when it changes just a little bit. Everything about this bird is beautiful to me.
