Here is another in the old photo review category. I take a prodigious amount of photos and often only edit one per day to go with the day's story. That has left me with hundreds of photos waiting for review and processing. I am just beginning the journey of reviewing and editing those images. It is a beautiful journey. One that allows me to relive those moments of exploration in the past.
In the waning days of the southern Arizona high desert autumn, we were traveling through Garden Canyon in Fort Huachuca when I noticed a small stand of brightly colored trees lining the road. I loved the way view seemed to lead into the dark abyss of the descending canyon. With the rim-rock lined cliffs towering above, it had an almost Tolkien sense, which I tried to convey in this picture.
Such is the beauty in the world I witness and share. For that, I am blessed.
I remain His scribe.
