There exists in each day a moment when the quotidian hustle, wearied from its drive to achieve, let's escape an exhausted final breath before descending into nights blessed respite. It is when a brief and transient flash of serenity envelops the entire world.

This incredibly unique time is known as the gloaming. Its draw is more potent than the song of a siren; its reward not destruction but the renewal of life. Nowhere is it more powerful than here in the southern Arizona high desert. Tonight, it cried to me across the valley plain in muted shouts of pastel blue and pink, pulling in my soul to resuscitate its being.

It is so easy to find so much wrong in the world. I strive, through my images and prose, to highlight what it right. The is the blessing bestowed upon me by my Father. I remain His scribe.
