Gettysburg Sunrise
There is nothing that I have experienced in my life that compares to Gettysburg's ability to humble. Standing on the great battlefield and contemplating the tragic magnificence of a countries struggle for freedom and equality makes all my life's troubles insignificant.
Here, the brave and terribly young patriots on both sides of the argument shed their blood that a country, that an ideal, that a constitution might live.
The Suns blood red hue crept over the horizon this morning, spilling its light onto the fog-shrouded battlefield creating an eerie effect that was too much a reminder of the lives sacrificed here.
To those great and brave patriots, I dedicate this simple photograph.
I hope you enjoy.
