The Rainbow Farm
Everything grows during monsoon season. Even rainbows sprout from the ground almost daily. Fed by rain and fertilized by lightning these bridges of hope balance the brutality of the storm with visions of optimism.
To understand the primal beauty of monsoon season, you must appreciate the resilience of the high arid desert that typically receives less than 12 inches of rain per year. When that brief six-week respite from dehydration arrives the entire landscape transforms from shades of brown and tan to a sea of green. It is this fertile farmland from which rainbows grow.
