I was blessed to capture many images of the entire double rainbow that graced our southern Arizona High Desert skies during last evenings gloaming. But while looking through all the photos, the one that struck me as the most powerful was this partial rainbow bathed in the golden hues of the tired days' repose. A subtle glowing brushstroke of an angel against a tumultuous cloudy sky, it offered serenity and hope against the storms of life.
I love watching the day fade across the San Pedro Valley. The dance of light on the Mule mountains in Bisbee and San Jose Mountain in Mexico never fails to provide a study in shadows and golden glow. The radiant beams of light projecting from the distant horizon only enhanced the scene, reinforcing once again that this is the home I so dearly love.
