One of the most iconic, and photographed, structures in Sedona is the Chapel of the Cross Cathedral. Set into the Red Rock mountain, it represents mankind's attempt to bring architectural beauty in line with Gods glorious creation. I did not want to take the same picture that everyone else had and thought that a capture it at night, with the tail of the Milky Way rising behind it, sort of a continuation of mankind's path to an eternal heaven, would be more meaningful and poignant.
