The Tufted Flycatcher (ABA Code 5) is possibly the bird that decided my move to Arizona. Forgetting for a moment about how rare it is, it is just so damn cute!

Last August, on my first visit to my future home, I saw the bird but was only able to get a mediocre shot behind some branches. Today, with Tony from Battiste bed and a host of 14 other birders I was able to see two! And both at close range! What an experience.

It wasn't bad to also get a life, Zone-tailed Hawk, from the top down and Olive and Graces Warblers. What a spectacular day.
