Sing, Baby, Sing

Sing, Baby, Sing

Watching a Scaled Quail sing, which they do quite often, is a form of comedic joy. You have to see it to understand the utter wonder of the way they throw back their head and bellow out their barking call. I'm blessed to hear this serenade all day, every day.

This Quail came so close that I did not need to crop this photo. I guess they are getting used to the big, ugly feeding machine that gives them food and water each morning.
