The Curved-billed Thrasher has a distinct and hauntingly disjointed song that demands attention when heard. I was driving through the neighborhood tonight when I heard it and immediately stopped to find the owner. I was surprised to see the bird perched about 10 yards from me on a stunning Purple Cactus. As I watched the second thrasher flew in and the two began interacting with one another. It was too good not to take a picture off; so I did.
