he most famous, and photographed, Barred Owl in NJ lives only a quarter of a mile from my home. I resist the temptation to visit it daily, but it has been about a month, and I decided to say hello. While it spent most of the time stoically perched, I did get a brief show when it decided to shake itself out. I hope you enjoy.
