Sometimes I go out and look for Owls. As often as not, finding none. And then, at times I just get lucky. I was completely surprised this morning when I looked up and found this beauty looking down at me. I only got a few shots before the Blue-Jays came and harrassed it into the deep woods.

It is difficult to have a bad day when it starts this well. Truly I am blessed.
