There is something blessed about living in a place where Pronghorn meander across the Sonoran high desert plains. There is a tranquility, and genuine appreciation one gains in watching these unique distance runners, who are capable of sustained speeds of 60mph, taking their time walking from one watering hole to another. It is a reminder that while this modern world offers us the ability to go ever faster, perhaps it makes more sense to take the time to slow down.
