If you live on the East side of the Huachuca mountains, there are many reasons to make the drive to the Paton Center in Patagonia, but seeing a Violet Crowned Hummingbird is not one of them. At least not as long as this beauty hangs out at the feeders in Ramsey Canyon. Now if I could only coax one to my backyard....
