Sunrise and Fog
Arizona continues to astound and humble with its spectacular sunrises and sunsets. After two days of steady rain, we awoke this morning to the thickest fog I have ever witnessed. Like a white comforter covering the horizon the veil shrouded the plains in a dense, billowy blanket. It was as if a cloud, weary from its days of work, decided to take a rest on the ground.
I have a number of shots with the cloud reflecting the pre-sunrise explosion of colors, but I liked this one to share first. The golden morning light, the starburst early sun, the fog and the mountains were as good as it gets.
