Before the sun crested the horizon, it surrounded the 9/11 memorial and Freedom tower in shades of blue and pink. Stalwart beacons of our great nation's resilience and perseverance, it is always humbling to begin the day as a witness to those who lost all to evil. I will miss my visits here.
