Hooded Oriole

Hooded Oriole

I took a double take this morning when our Bullock's Oriole came in with two friends. At first, I thought he had picked up a couple of ladies. Nope, he was paling around with a pair of Hooded Orioles. That makes the trifecta of Scott's, Bullocks and Hooded in our yard. Add Costas, Black-chinned, Broad-tailed, Anna's and Rufous on the Hummingbird front; Scaled and Gambles on the Quail side and a ton of other sparrows, flycatchers, raptors and others and I may never have to leave the house again. Arizona is paradise! If you are a birder, it is paradise with a cherry on top!
