Most people don't give sparrows a second look. They are a small bird, and with a quick glance, they all look the same. But they are not.
Take the Black-throated Sparrow. With its distinctive gray body and bold black beard, they are one of the unique and beautiful birds of nature. Of the sparrows I have seen (excluding Towhees, which are part of New World Sparrows and Allies), I find the Black-throated and the Lark Sparrow to be the most impressive. This Black-throated decided to perch and pose on a cactus, making it even more appealing. I hope you enjoy.
