At 1.2 Million pounds, the fully restored steam locomotive Big Boy No. 4014 is a leviathan tribute to Union Pacific's commitment to honoring its history. I was blessed to see her pass through three Arizona towns today as it made its way around the country in its inaugural journey. In each encounter engineer, Ed Dickens skillfully guided this mammoth testament to man's innovation with the sureness of a master and the showmanship of star.
In this image, Big Boy glides resolutely into the town of Mescal, Arizona. I have many shots of this morning's adventures, but this may be my favorite (of course those who know me know that that might change with the next image I look at)
I am blessed to experience and share His world and remain His scribe.
